Summer Camp for Boys

At Logical Decorum, our summer camp program transcends mere leisure - it's a purpose-driven leadership experience meticulously structured to mold tomorrow's leaders. Embracing a tiered approach, we provide comprehensive formation to college-age students, empowering them to embody the virtues and behaviors that young campers aspire to emulate such as humility of heart, generosity, fortitude, and cheerfulness. Through philosophical seminars and mentorship, our counselors gain deep insights into the cardinal virtues and philosophy, equipping them to instill a profound sense of purpose and genuine conduct in our campers. Our curriculum, anchored in character development and leadership principles, fosters resilience and cultivates a profound understanding of virtue. Positioned amidst the lush landscapes of Northern Virginia, our Noble Knights Leadership Camp for boys, offered for one session for rising 2nd-7th graders. Activities will be fast-pace and designed for boys, divided appropriately according to age. This immersive experience is where campers forge lasting friendships, develop leadership traits, and emerge as purpose driven individuals poised to make a positive impact in their communities. From exhilarating team sports to outdoor games and X Games, every activity serves as an instructional moment for developing the characteristics of character and leadership essential for success in life. This camp will grow each camper’s progress to building a humane, just, and reasonable world.

Activities & Curriculum

We offer a dynamic curriculum focused on cultivating leadership qualities in campers tribes. Each day begins with a gathering session and a brief talk centered around a virtue. Campers participate in sports tournaments in the morning and engage in challenge and outdoor games in the afternoon. Leadership instruction is incorporated into every activity of the day, fostering teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills (among the many virtues). Campers also participate in the “Fox Trials” and receive a daily newspaper with updates on activities and scores. The culmination of the week is the X Games, a thrilling treasure hunt and a muddy obstacle course challenge. Our camp empowers campers to become confident, responsible leaders in a safe and supportive environment.

Counselor Program

Our counselor program selects college and older high school students. They undergo character formation seminars emphasizing leadership with honor, humility, and distinction.

Participants gain valuable experience through immersive training, benefiting both junior and senior counselors.

Why is the camp all boys?

This camp is all boys because we live in a culture where boys lack formation and a community to practice the virtues that they were born with. Between prudence, fortitude, temperance, and justice - boys need formation and experience to be a leader under a structured/fun environment with formational instruction that cultivates and strengthens the leadership capabilities. Boys are called to be men and fathers one day, and our culture needs real men that can lead by virtue. Our counselors being men will embody the behavior that is much needed in today’s society.

  • Challenge can benefit anyone and there is no better place to do this than within a camp fitted for leadership. Campers need an opportunity to master themselves and this camp will give the tools and teach the virtues necessary for self-mastery.

  • No one can learn without desire. Here desire is cultivated through fun activities with a competitive spirit, under a wholesome environment.

  • Boys need appropriate adventure, to not only test boundaries, but to develop grit.

  • We live in a society where camps such as this one are rare. This camp will foster leadership, fortitude, and your son's character.
